Once upon a time, I could make these.

- fried calamari and eggplant parm at Italian Garden
I’m so going to the store and getting lettuce tomorrow. I need fresh veggies to come back into my life.

So, my favorite *bux drink isn’t on the menu anymore. But I can totally still order it. And I intend on doing so.

What I Ate: December 17, 2011
A new feature on Cuppycakes- what I, the supreme foodie of the land (Norman, Oklahoma), ate today.
- Eggplant Parmesan from Buca di Beppo.
- Raspberry croissant from La Baguette.
That’s totally all. I drove home from school today and only had time to eat those two things. Tragic, I know.
Let’s just have a discussion about how awesome this is.
I love red velvet. It’s delicious and good looking, like all of my favorite things.
I love coconut. I eat (and drink) coconut everything. Just the other day I went to Sonic and bought, like, my 4 millionth diet Sprite with blue coconut.
I love doughnuts. I especially like when you spell them doughnuts.
Basically this picture is everything I enjoy about life.
pumpkin spice layer cake with brown butter cream cheese frosting.
I love this style of icing! I’ve heard it’s simple, but I’ve never been able to try it.
I am a taco fiend. Here’s my personal list of my favorite taco shops in the places I know best.
1. Chiloso (Dallas)– Amazing Austin-style tacos. My combo of choice is two tacos with chicken, corn, cheese, lettuce, and a dab of sour cream. I dunk them in Chiloso’s signature jalapeno-lime ranch.
2. Torchy’s Tacos (Dallas)– A new addition to Dallas. I love the Democrat, which features yummy shredded beef. Pick up the fried cookie dough while you’re there too.
3. Fuzzy’s Taco Shop (Norman/Dallas)– It’s a chain, but still awesome. Tempura shrimp, cilantro, garlic sauce, and lettuce. Their queso is great too.
The 23 Days of Cuppycakes Christmas!
Until Christmas Day, I’ll be posting daily about my favorite Christmas recipes, traditions, and the best way to spend your break- whether you get two days, two weeks, or two months off from school or work responsibilities!
I’ll also be tweeting about it on my personal Twitter. You can find me at @sydneyyallen using the hashtag #CuppycakesChristmas.
